Bihar STET Age Limit: There is great news for the youth preparing for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2023 in Bihar. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced to give relaxation of up to four years in the age limit for Bihar STET exam to the youth of all categories. Along with this, great relief has been given to the candidates who were deprived of the Bihar Secondary and Higher Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test.

Bihar Board (BSEB) has issued a notice on its official website bsebstet.com informing candidates about the relaxation of four years in the upper age limit. BSEB said that this has been done following the directions of the Patna High Court.

A single bench of Justice Rajiv Ranjan Prasad heard the petition filed by Shambhu Kumar and others on Friday. The court clarified that this order is not final. Whatever decision will be taken after hearing all the parties after the counter affidavit is filed by the state government and the examination committee, it will be applicable. The court has ordered the examination committee to take action for accepting the application form including publishing the notice for accepting the application form.

Age relaxation will be applicable for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 candidates and during the period from August 1, 2019 to August 1, 2023 (overage candidates). Such candidates have also been allowed to fill new applications till 5 pm on 2nd September.

Admit cards of the candidates who had registered earlier have been issued. Candidates can see the name of the examination centre, date and time, reporting time and gate closing time etc. on the admit card. Let us tell you that BSEB will conduct Bihar STET 2023 from 4th to 15th September. The examination will be conducted in two shifts on all examination days.
