The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has announced a recruitment drive for 490 vacancies across various positions, including Technician, Trade Apprentice, and Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice roles. The online application process began on August 25, 2023 and will close on September 10, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the various positions are as follows:

• Technician: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must also have a Diploma in relevant trade from a recognized institute.
• Trade Apprentice: Candidates must have passed the 10th examination. They must also have completed a pre-apprenticeship training in the relevant trade from a recognized institute.
• Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any other relevant discipline.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for the various positions is as follows:

• Technician: 24 years
• Trade Apprentice: 18 years
• Accounts Executive/Graduate Apprentice: 28 years

Selection Process

The selection process will involve a Written Exam followed by Document Verification. The Written Exam will be held in two phases, Phase I and Phase II. The Phase I exam will be a screening exam, and the Phase II exam will be a more comprehensive exam. The details of the selection process will be announced in the official notification.
